Frankie is using a specially-designed carseat called the Britax Hippo. It doesn't have any sides so that his legs can hang off and he can still travel safely. The kind people at Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City loaned it to us and we simply need to ship it back to them when we are finished.
