I Need Domestic Advice!

What's the very best way to care for refinished hardwood floors? The floors in this house aren't as tough as the floors in my old house and I'm trying without success to find the best regimen for cleaning while preserving them. Help!

Vinegar and water. I have tried every hardwood floor cleaner and this is the best one by far. It is cheap, and easy to use. Of course I don't have old floors, but they are wood. The only negative side effect is that your house smells like dying Easter eggs.

I wonder if you could add a few drops of essential oils to help with that problem? I have a bottle of lavender burning a hole in my cabinet...

Depends on how they are finished. Ours have three layers of polyurethane so they are almost indestructible. We use Murphy's oil soap with a giant swiffer looking dust mop thing I found at Kroger.

And by "we" I mean Carlton.
